May the most holy, sacred, most adorable , most incomprehensible and unutterable               Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and in the hells, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar Amen

After receiving this prayer, Sister Mary of St. Peter was given in a vision which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by the "Golden arrow", as torrents of graces from streamed from It for the conversion of sinners.

Four Special Graces Promised to those Devoted to the Dolors of Our Lady

According to St. Alphonsus Liguori, Our Lord revealed to St. Elizabeth of Hungary four special graces that are given to those who are devoted to the dolors of His holy Mother.

1.That those who before death invoke the Blessed Mother in the name of her sorrows, should obtain true repentance of all their sins. 

2.That He would protect in their tribulations all who remember this devotion, and that He would protect them especially at the hour of death.
3. That He would impress upon their minds the remembrance of His Passion, and that they should have their reward for it in Heaven.
4. That He would commit such devout clients to the hands of Mary, so that she might obtain for these souls all the graces she wanted to lavish upon them.

Seven Promises to Those who Meditate on Our Lady's Tears and Dolors

According to St. Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373), the Blessed Virgin grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Marys while meditating on her tears and dolors:
1."I will grant peace to their families."
2. "They will be elightened about the Divine Mysteries."
3. "I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work."
4. "I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my Divine Son or the sanctification of their souls."
5. "I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives."
6. "I will visibly help them at the moment of their death--they will see the face of their mother."
7. "I have obtained this grace from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son will be their eternal consolation and joy."

PRAYER AGAINST SATAN AND THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS

Published By Order Of H.H. Pope Leo XIII

The Holy Father exhorts priests to say this prayer as often as possible, as a simple exorcism to curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm. The faithful also may say it in their own name, for the same purpose, as any approved prayer. Its use is recommended whenever action of the devil is suspected, causing malice in men, violent temptations and even storms and various calamities. It could be used as a solemn exorcism (an official and public ceremony, in Latin), to expel the devil. It would then be said by a priest, in the name of the Church and only with a Bishop's permission.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

Most glorious Prince of the Heavenly Armies, Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in "our battle against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places" (Eph. 6:12). Come to the assistance of men whom God has created to His likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Holy Church venerates thee as her guardian and protector; to thee, the Lord has entrusted the souls of the redeemed to be led into heaven. Pray therefore the God of Peace to crush Satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive and do injury to the Church. Offer our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us; take hold of "the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan", bind him that he may no longer seduce the
nations" (Apoc. 20:2-3).

EXORCISM

In the Name of Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and all the Saints. IX ROSARY

SAINT DOMINIC

Founder
(1170-1221)
Saint Dominic de Guzman was born in Spain in 1170. As a student, he sold his books to feed the poor during a famine, and offered himself to ransom a slave. At the age of twenty-five, after taking the religious habit he became acting Superior of the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine in Osma, and was soon offered an episcopal chair at Compostella. He answered as afterward he also answered many times: "God has not sent me to be a bishop, but to preach." He accompanied his prelate to southern France on a commission for the king of Castille. There his heart was well-nigh broken by the ravages of the Albigensian heresy, a variant of ancient Manicheanism, and the source of devastating wars in southern France. His life from that time on was devoted to the conversion of heretics and the defense of the Faith. In the year 1199, while he was still a Canon Regular of Saint Augustine and was preaching near the Spanish coasts, he was taken captive, with all his audience and a Brother in religion, by a band of pirates. They placed the prisoners in their galleys at the oars. When a furious storm broke, the young Saint exhorted the disciples of Mohammed to think seriously of their souls, to open their eyes to the truth of Christianity, and above all, to invoke the Mother of God. They did not listen until his third exhortation, at a moment when it was clear the ship and passengers could not be saved. They swore to him then that if the God of Christians preserved them by the intercession of His Holy Mother, they would dedicate themselves to their service. Immediately the storm ceased, and the pirates kept their word. When in his 46th year, and with six companions, he began the great Order of Preaching Friars, this Order with that of the Friars Minor, founded by his contemporary friend Saint Francis of Assisi, was the chief means God employed to renew Christian fervor during the Middle Ages. In addition, Saint Dominic founded his Second Order for nuns for the education of Catholic girls, and his Third Order, or Tertiaries, for persons of both sexes living in the world. God abundantly blessed the new Order, and France, Italy, Spain, and England welcomed the Preaching Friars. Our Lady took them under Her special protection. During a debate with the heretics, a book by the Saint, defending Her Immaculate Conception, was thrown into the flames along with one by the heretics, to see whether one might be spared. Saint Dominic's was not injured, and many heretics were converted. It was in 1208, while Saint Dominic knelt in the little chapel of Notre Dame de La Prouille, and implored the great Mother of God to save the Church, that Our Lady appeared to him and gave him the Rosary, bidding him to go forth and preach it. During the famous battles in southern France against the Albigensians, with his rosary in hand he revived the courage of the Catholic armies, led them to victory against overwhelming numbers, and finally subdued the heresy. His nights were spent in prayer; and, though all beheld him as an Angel of purity, before morning broke he would scourge himself to blood. His words rescued countless souls, and three times raised the dead to life. At length, on August 6, 1221, at the age of fifty-one, he gave up his soul to God.

 

How To Say The Rosary

 The word Rosary comes from the Latin "rosarium" meaning a wreath ofor chaplet of roses which was used to denote a collection of sayings and prayers, Prior to the Christian era noted cords and strings of stones had been used to keep track of repeated prayers and penitential acts. Among the early hermits, anchorites and monks a devotion to our Lady was prevalent Legend has it the St. lldephones' and later St. Dominic received directions concerning the recitation of the Rosary from Mary herself. The recitation of Hail Marys to be counted by the aid of Pater Nosters was common in the 12th century. Gradually to the prayers of praise, the Hail Mary, a second part, a prayer of petition the "holy Mary"--was added in varying forms. The prayer as we have today was given approved from the Romas Breviary of 1568.

Assigned to each fifteen decades of the Rosary is a particular mystery on which we meditate during the recitation. This meditation on the mysteries is said to be the very essence of the Rosary. The mysteries are grouped according to three definite categories;

I THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES

Then stripping him, they put a scarlet cloak about him. And platting a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand. And bowing the knee before him, they mocked him,, saying: Hail, king of the Jews. And spitting upon him, they took the reed, and struck his head. The Second Glorious Mystery

The Ascension of Our Lord - Hope

But you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you, and you shall witness unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had said these things, while they looked on, he was raised up: and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they were beholding him going up to heaven, behold two men stood by them in white garments. Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as you have seen him going to heaven. ( Acts 1: 8-11)

The Third Glorious Mystery

The Descent of the Holy Ghost - Love

And when the days of Pentecost were accomplished, They were all together in one place: And suddenly There came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind Coming, and it filled the whole house where they were Sitting. And there appeared to them parted tongues as It were of fire, and it sat upon every one of them. And They were filled with the Holy Ghost. and they began To speak with divers of tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak. (Act 2:1-4)

The Assumption - Eternal Happiness

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin into heaven is the mystery of purity. The Immaculate Conception prepared for the Annunciation by providing spiritual incorruptibility, the Annunciation led to the Nativity, and the Assumption followed as a gracious consequence because it was not fitting that the body that bore the body of Jesus Christ should ever be violated by any form of corruption.          (Catholic Devotions)

The Fifth Glorious Mystery
The Coronation - Devotion to BVM

The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin as Queen of Heaven came as a logical climax to her career as the mother of the Redeemer. The purpose of the redemption of mankind a second opportunity to spend eternity in heaven. Adam has squandered the first opportunity, and he had lost it for the whole human race. After the redemption through Jesus Christ each human being would be personally and sole responsible whether or not he would swell in heaven. It is fitting that the woman who brought the Redeemer into this world should be the hostess, as it were, to welcome all those good noble souls that her Son has enables to find their way into heaven.        (Catholic Devotions)

The Joyful mysteries direct our souls towards neighbor, the Sorrowful to our love of self and the Glorious mysteries lead us to a greater love of God thus the Rosary is a school of Perfect Love following the Great Commandment of love of God and neighbor.
